NOW ENROLLING FOR 2026/2027 SCHOOL YEAR
The high school program at Blessed Sacrament Academy prepares students for the academic, intellectual, and personal demands of higher education and adult life. These years emphasize rigorous study, mature reasoning, and intentional formation as students complete their classical education.
Instruction in grades 9 through 12 follows the classical model of education, with an emphasis on advanced reasoning, clear communication, and disciplined inquiry appropriate to this stage of development.
In classical education, high school corresponds to the Rhetoric Stage. During this stage, students learn to synthesize knowledge, evaluate complex ideas, and communicate effectively with clarity and precision.
Through structured writing, discussion, and analysis, students develop the ability to articulate well-reasoned arguments and engage thoughtfully with academic and moral questions.
Humanities: Students study literature, history, and theology through classic texts and guided discussion, developing analytical reading, writing, and historical understanding.
Mathematics: Coursework includes algebra, geometry, and higher-level mathematics, emphasizing logical reasoning and problem-solving.
Science: Students study the natural sciences through lecture, experimentation, and laboratory work, developing scientific literacy and analytical skills.
Languages: Latin remains a core component of the curriculum, strengthening language structure and logical thinking. Modern languages are offered to support broader cultural understanding.
Philosophy and Logic: Students engage formal logic and philosophy, examining foundational questions of truth, ethics, and human nature.
Fine Arts: Art and music are included to support creative expression and an appreciation for beauty and culture.
High school students are guided toward greater independence, responsibility, and maturity. Through clear expectations, mentorship, and consistent structure, students develop habits of discipline, integrity, and perseverance.
Opportunities for service, leadership, and community involvement support personal growth and reinforce a sense of responsibility beyond the classroom.
The high school program at Blessed Sacrament Academy is designed to prepare students for success in higher education, particularly within Catholic colleges and universities. Graduates leave with strong academic foundations, effective study habits, and the ability to engage thoughtfully with complex material.
High school students at Blessed Sacrament Academy have the opportunity to graduate with an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts through Holy Apostles College & Seminary. This program provides a strong academic foundation while supporting continued intellectual and spiritual development as students transition to college-level study.
